April 2012 - The on-line magazine CSP-TODAY, focused on parabolic trough market for green energy production, says aluminum can play a special role in cost savings and a better technical performance, in comparison with similar structures in steel.
Most of the issues, are however applicable to other steel structures not strictly related to CSP.
Tecno Design Engineering has developed a special aluminum design for CSP's able to cut assembly costs up to 70% and at the same time, complies with the most restrictive specifications issued by the International Research Centres.
